Hot Elevator

Houston is a lovely town in the summer. The hotel that I am at has great air conditioning, expect for in the elevator. The elevator is a place that good A/C is important, because you are crowded in a small confined space with people that you do not know. It makes an uncomfortable situation even worse. In college I wrote a paper about peoples comfort zone, and how at a book store if you get to close to someone, they will just scoot over. Different people have different comfort zones, and these zones will change depending on who is invading the zone.

Today I was in a meeting that had quite a bit of discussion around several computer systems problem’s Overall the meeting was beneficial, however, there were times when it seemed as though we were chasing our tails. During the tail chasing, there were a lot of people with good ideas that were not listening to each other. The best part of the day was watching a guy who resembles Yosemite Sam eat pop corn from across the room. He had a very unique facial expression as he chewed.
