Wednesday Morning, Ft. Collins

Yesterday we made the trek from North Platte, Ne, to Ft. Collins Colorado. It went well, we stopped once for lunch and gas. I really like the interstate system up here, they miss most of the towns and I have so far avoided majority cities. This will not be the case tomorrow when we travel to Denver.

It is now Wednesday afternoon. We went to the Old Town Square in Ft. Collins, one startling observation that I have is the Square is really a triangle. I think that could be construed as false advertising. After that we were going to ride a small gauge train, but it is closed during the week after labor day, so we though we would drive to a scenic outlook. According to the Boucher that the Ft. Collins Visitors Information there was this nice little road system that would take us there. We followed their directions and arrived at a communications point at the top of a mountain. It was really not much of a scenic overlook. (The guy in the cement truck did not look very happy to see us.
